It’s TIME!!!!!!!!! Print Recipe Print Recipe

This is crazy to think, but this is my last post before I meet this little man!

Assuming I don’t go into labor naturally in the night, I will be checking into the hospital tomorrow morning [November 8th] at 7:30 am.

Going through with this appointment was not easy for me. I believe every baby will come when they’re ready and wanted everything to happen naturally. However, in conversation with my doctor and based on the safety of this baby, I’ve agreed to keep the appointment. I’ve had to do some work, but I’ve shifted my pictures and now confident I will make this a beautiful experience, no matter what happens.

Now, for the blog. I have THE most amazing friends [who also happen to be well known bloggers] who’ve created some incredible gluten-free recipes that I’ll be sharing weekly over the next month or so. I can’t wait for you to see what they’ve all created!

If you want baby updates and a ridiculous amount of baby photos, follow With Style and Grace Baby. That’s where I plan to be posting.

I’m pretty sure instagram will be the first place I introduce our little guy to the world. If you’re not following me, you can follow me HERE.

Alright, here we go, g’night everyone!

Ha, who am I kidding. I’m not going to sleep.

*Please don’t share anything negative [birthing stories, experiences or opinons about induction]. Everyone is different. Thank you!

When my (French) boyfriend’s sister was induced last fall, he called me all excited to say they were “launching” the baby. I think the word choice was a little lost in translation, but I thought it was pretty cute anyway. Best wishes for a successful launch!! 3…2… 1…. :)

I’ve just discovered your site & I’m loving it! Good luck with your new bundle of joy – and if you hadn’t posted it was a boy – I would have guessed that it was! Everyone one I know who has had a boy – including 2 for myself, had a nice tight high tummy!

Good luck & enjoy every moment! Our second is 24 weeks old who has just woken from his nap!

I can totally relate. The last thing I wanted was induction, but because of some concerns about how the baby was responding in utero, we decided to go ahead with induction. When I decided to induce, I decided to make myself as comfortable as possible, I was able to have her vaginally, and I don’t regret a thing! My little girl is almost a year now. Labor and delivery is just a small part of the journey. A great adventure is about to begin! Best of luck to you and your family. The next few weeks will be so special. Looking forward to photos :)

My water broke and started my labor but I had pitocen to speed things along. I had the most amazing and beautiful birth experience and I know you’ll have the same! Can’t wait to see the first photos!

  • Libbynan

Good luck and God bless! I never can understand why people feel the need to share horrific stories with an already nervous mom-to-be… Just so you know, both of my births were easy, fast, and funny as hell. We still, almost forty years since the last one, have people gasping with laughter when we tell the stories. May you be equally blessed!
