A Virtual Baby Shower Thank you! Print Recipe Print Recipe

It was as if my birthday came early.

I woke up Wednesday morning to a twitter feed filled with this delicious food and to my surprise, all tagging ME!

I sat in bed reading post after post, eyes filled with tears, big smiles, and moments of laughter.  I’m so incredibly grateful for this community and the amazing friends I’ve made. My heart is very full.

Thank you Maria, Marla, Gaby and Brian for hosting such a sweet occasion. If only we could have done it in person, but I’m sure it wont be long before we’re all together. Feel free to come visit!

I’ll be 39 weeks on Thursday, but here’s my 38 week update if you missed it.

How does a virtual baby shower work? A group of bloggers coordinate who’s “bringing” [posting] what dish to the virtual shower and then on a specific day, everyone posts their dish, and includes links of everyone else so readers can jump around and “try” everything that people brought. Pretty awesome, huh? I helped organize one a year ago for my dear friend Maria and it was so much fun, just never thought I’d be the recipient of one!

I highly recommend you check out all the tasty treats everyone “brought”, which I’ve listed the links below. They’re pretty amazing [& also very talented] people if you ask me. I wish I could hug them all!
