Refreshing Summer WS&G Favorites Print Recipe Print Recipe

This Riesling Strawberry Slushy is the most popular recipe on the blog!  If you’ve tried it, you understand. If I were having a girl, I would totally serve this at my baby shower. For the guests, of course.

Entertaining this summer [ or this weekend ]? These little Caprese Skewers are the perfect bite sized appetizers.

I love the flavors of this salad. This Grilled Corn, Tomato and Avocado Salad is perfect if you’re planning on heating up the grill.

Yes, another alcoholic recipe – they just happen to be favorites, don’t judge. I make these Vodka Infused Cherry Tomatoes whenever I entertain and every time, people come asking me for the recipe. It’s super easy and fun for everyone.

Some days it’s just too hot to turn on the oven, but that doesn’t stop me from indulging. I love these Chocolate Peanut Butter & Jelly Cups because they’re easy and soooo freaking good!

I can’t stop eating corn [*only “vegetable” I can get down these days] and love that this Sweet Corn and Lime Salad doesn’t require cooking.

I only quote corn as a “vegetable” because it seems much more like a fruit since it’s so sweet.

This picture doesn’t do this Summer Chopped Chickpea Salad justice. This is another favorite with my readers. It’s light, healthy and travels well, especially in mason jars.

I love soup, but sometimes they’re the last thing I want on a warm day. This Summer Strawberry Gazpacho is a great alternative & it’s also a fun option for entertaining.

I love making this Spiced Pear Smoothie, especially after a workout on a warm day. Also great for breakfast!

I made this Quinoa Tabbauleh Salad for my mom when I was in back home in Seattle and it was gone in a matter of days. Sadly, I didn’t help. It’s crazy to think I was inhaling this 5 months ago and now I seriously gag at the smells. Four more months and I WILL be eating this again!

Hope you all have a wonderful and SAFE Fourth of July! The Mr. will be gone and I will most likely be unpacking and organizing. You doing anything fun? I’ll just live through all you, k? Cool.

    So beautiful and delicious looking!
My baby shower is in two weekends, and my girlfriends are making something very similar to those caprese skewers. I will have to suggest  the riesling slushy, although I’ll be jealous I can’t partake.
Amen on only eating corn. I’ve had it twice a week since the season started…

Thanks for the recap!  I’m a newer follower and love your blog. I eat gluten and dairy free to self manage an auto immune disorder. I made the sweet corn and lime salad tonight for a dinner party with family and everyone LOVED it!
