Grapefruit and Oranges: Two ways Print Recipe Print Recipe

I ate this <both glasses> for breakfast.

I then closed my eyes, hoping that when I opened them, I’d be in a spa.  Such a disappointment.

This falls into my the category of “what you’d eat in a spa”.  This, cucumber water, nuts, big green salads, and fresh fish. Oh and can’t forget mimosas.

If I win the lotto or hit it big, I’m checking myself in.  Who’s with me?

I’m just going to say it.  Hi, I’m Lisa and I’m a lazy fruit eater.  Basically it goes berries, grapes, apples and then pears.

Then it’s the grapefruits, oranges, and melons.

This of course is not the order of favorite to least favorite. I love grapefruit and watermelon, I just <strongly> dislike working for my food sometimes.

When I’m on a kick with something, I usually find other ways to enjoy it.

Breakfast, snack, dessert. . . sometimes all the above.

Add a little sugar, turn on a little heat and then spoon this goodness over some ice cream.

This is love, please don’t stop me.

I love the idea of the broiled grapefruit.  Usually I just cut, segment and eat, but I think broiling needs to be added to the list.

  • Bev Weidner

What about a third way, including you squeezing these into my head?

  • Emily @ Glitz Glam Granola

Ohh this sounds like the perfect way to use up the grapefruit I’ve got in the fridge! I’ve never broiled citrus fruit before but it sounds like it would produce an extra-yummy flavor!

What great pictures! The fruit looks so sweet and yummy! I agree with you though about not liking to work so hard for fruit sometimes! But every once in a while it is so worth it!
