Dark Chocolate with Pistachios + Sea Salt Print Recipe Print Recipe

You want to swim in that don’t you?

I’m not kidding you, this was the EASIEST and most AMAZING chocolatey sweet treat, ever! Oh, and it’s healthy annnnnd there’s no baking required.

You sold yet?

I heart pistachios.

Thankfully, this little green nut is full of antioxidants, fiber, and also good for your heart. More nutritional information, here.

Sprinkle these healthy guys [& a little sea salt] over the melted dark chocolate and you’ve got yourself one healthy treat!

Chocolate + sweet + salty. Holy heaven.

Now, if you’re willing to part with this, these also make great gifts. . . OR just double the batch, half for you, half for them. That works too.

When I first made this, I halved the batch – big mistake, I know, and my husband and I ate it ALL. Shocker, had to make it again for a hostess gift.

ps. The first batch I left off the cranberries and it was still delicious.

I just so happen to have a lovely bar of Scharrfen Berger 70% burning a hole on my pantry shelf. I think I know what it’s destined to be. Do you think dried cherries could replace the cranberries?

I toasted my pistachios and they were amazing in this. I also made a version with some white chocolate swirled through it. I also found this is best when the chocolate is spread quite thin.

My “bark” was rubbery not crunchy, it was still delicious, but what did I do wrong?

Just made two pans of this wonderful treat! The first I made with 18 oz. of chocolate (1 & 1/2 packages) and used a cookie sheet to spread on to. While this was wonderful, the thickness of the chocolate was to much and so the second batch I used 12 oz (1 package) of chocolate and discovered a thinner layer is much better. I also used a liberal amount of kosher sea salt and extra pistachios. The cranberries gave it a festive punch! Love, love this NO BAKE recipe! QUICK and EASY!!
