It’s Friday, I figured you needed a drink.

That’s the only plan we have this weekend, drinks at our favorite local spot. Just the two of us.  <happy dance, happy dance>

This is a working weekend for me, working on something really, SUPER awesome and BIG! Obviously, I’m going to share it with you, but you’ll have to wait until next week.

One hint: Health.

Alright, what’s everyone else doing this weekend? baking/cooking? Celebrating Halloween like everyone else? Yeah, we’re totally lame. Whatever you do, have fun & be safe!

This is a delicious champagne cocktail, perfect for a wedding or baby shower, holiday party, girls night, etc.

Ginger Sparkler

Ingredients

Set a fine-mesh sieve over a small bowl; set aside.

In a small saucepan, boil ginger, sugar, and 1/4 cup water until it becomes a syrup, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and pour through sieve and into a bowl, discarding solids.

Pour about a tablespoon of syrup into each champagne glass. Top with sparkling wine, gently stir.
