Bite-size Almond Joys + DIY packaging
Print Recipe

For the record, these are better than the real deal. Just sayin’.
My first Almond Joy, high school. We were (still are) a licorice & M&M sorta family. It was my mother-in-law {not at the time} who I have to thank. Trying to remember the specific occasion, my husband and I ended up reenacting reminiscing several high school memories. My stomach still hurts from laughing. And no, there wasn’t even wine involved, if you can believe that. Oh, he was on cold medicine. Me… yeah, I got nothing.
Moving on. The little bite-size almond joys, per-fection. This is for all you coconut + chocolate fans, including my mother-in-law. Warning: Don’t expect to stop at just one.
Tip: Avoid eating the entire batch – wrap them up for a neighbor or co-worker. These also make a great hostess gift and if you want to impress (more than you already have), you can make your own chocolate box. It’s easy (no really, it is), plus you can customize it however you’d like. Paper purchased at @Paper_Source. I spend too much time on twitter.
This post was created for Celebrations at Home where you can find the recipe and DIY tutorial.
