Bakerella + Cake Pops
Print Recipe

I met the Bakerella.
a.k.a “Cake Pop Queen”
As in the creator of cake pops. Yep, that’s her!
I waited maybe 10 minutes, thanks to the torrential down pour that kept the crowd size to a minimum. She walked in with the absolute biggest smile on her face, saying hello and thanking us all for coming out. I’m almost positive she couldn’t be any more sweeter or more adorable.
I really just wanted to say hello and to thank her for all the creative inspiration that she’s shared with us. She’s truly one talented woman and you can see the passion in her eyes. Anyways, we had a nice chat, totally normal, then she signed my book and then we hugged goodbye. Did we hug? Maybe we didn’t, I can’t remember.
After that, what else would I do but go home and make cake pops. Lots of cake pops.

{3rd Favorite}: White cake with buttercream frosting and lavender candy melts (purchased at Michaels)

{2nd Favorite}: Chocolate cake with vanilla frosting and lavender candy melts (purchased at Michaels)

{FAVORITE}: Devils Food Cake with Coconut Pecan Frosting and 1/2 milk & 1/2 dark chocolate coating. I took a little bite, I couldn’t help it. Mmm… SO good!!
Here’s the basic cake ball: “How To“
NOTE: careful not to use too much frosting or cake balls will be too moist.
Angie, if you’re reading this – Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything that you do and I look forward to following your success. Cheers! xo
