Bakerella + Cake Pops Print Recipe Print Recipe

I met the Bakerella.

a.k.a “Cake Pop Queen”

As in the creator of cake pops. Yep, that’s her!

I waited maybe 10 minutes, thanks to the torrential down pour that kept the crowd size to a minimum. She walked in with the absolute biggest smile on her face, saying hello and thanking us all for coming out. I’m almost positive she couldn’t be any more sweeter or more adorable.

I really just wanted to say hello and to thank her for all the creative inspiration that she’s shared with us. She’s truly one talented woman and you can see the passion in her eyes. Anyways, we had a nice chat, totally normal, then she signed my book and then we hugged goodbye. Did we hug? Maybe we didn’t, I can’t remember.

After that, what else would I do but go home and make cake pops. Lots of cake pops.

I am still trying to figure out what you do with all these delicious baked goods – particularly since you can’t eat them. Although, I guess that does make so much baking a bit safer. 🙂
