{I love you} Eggs and Toast

It’s Sunday, the day before Valentines Day – perfect time for breakfast in bed or perhaps breakfast for dinner. Now that’s love.
It’s simple, really. one egg – over easy – over a piece of toast. Usually gluten-free, but you can do a whole grain or fresh french/sourdough bread. Too simple? Throw your egg on top of this.
Happy {almost} Valentines Day!
Ingredients
- Egg(s)
- Bread
- Heart shaped cookie cutter
- butter or avocado – optional
Directions
Spray your pan with cooking spray. Over medium heat, place a heart shaped cookie cutter in the center of the pan. Break one egg in the center of the cookie cutter and let cook. While you wait, toast a piece of bread and then cut out a heart with the cookie cutter. If you prefer, butter the toast or spread avocado before laying the egg on top. Serve with fresh fruit, orange juice and you’ve got yourself one easy and delicious breakfast.
