A Touch of Holiday Sparkle Print Recipe Print Recipe

Holiday DIY pumpkin decor

Playing hostess this holiday season or perhaps looking to add a little sparkle to your home? Easy. No really, this took me 20 minutes, at most to bedazzle these two little pumpkins and they’re the perfect addition to my holiday decor. Thinking about table settings, these glittery pumpkins could become centerpieces, placed around an assortment of maple leaves & greenery brought in from the yard and then placed along side (or underneath) several votive or tea light candles, which help to warm up the room. All this and you have yourself one beautiful, rustic – chic table display that will impress your guests. How does that sound? Right, here’s what you’ll need. Buy any size or number of pumpkins and enough glue and glitter to coat the entire surface. Make sure you have newspaper down before you begin or else you’ll have a shiny new coffee table. Sorry, babe…

Aside from table settings, you could place the shimmery pumpkin{s} on a side table, bookshelf, or next to an arrangement of flowers. Feel free to use any color of glitter to create the look you’re going for. Don’t be afraid, this is a fun, easy and inexpensive way to add a little sparkle to your home this holiday season.

I love this, it looks so pretty, and it’s definitely more economical than actually buying the glitter pumpkins they sell in the store

    That’s my kind of pumpkin!

Did you finish with hairspray or something similar [or need to] to keep the glitter from going everywhere?
